Want To Delete Rows With Empty Cell Values From Large Excel Sheets? Use This Tip.

Like the subject says, you can save yourself the huge headache (and potential blindness) if you implement this tip.

I've always admired MS Excel and the people who know how to manipulate it. Why? Because it's laden with great tools to make massive work a breeze.

I had an excel book of at least 9,000 entries per sheet with 19 sheets. How do you go about removing entries that have certain cells not filled in?

You could delete each row containing the empty cell one after the other and be done after like 20 years (the client needs it like tomorrow, by the way). Or you could just follow this simple trick.

1. Select the entire column that has missing entries

2. Go to the top right ribbon and click on Find & Select

3. Select Go to Special... option

4. The dialogue box as shown in figure 1 will appear. Click the Blank radio button

5. Then carefully right click on of the empty cells in the selected column and select Delete...

6. Select Entire Row and click Ok

There. You are done! In under a minute, you've accomplished a feat that could take months. How do you feel? Pretty genius, huh?
